JUST KEEPING IN TOUCH
Greetings from Kelly Price Pottery! Wow it’s already July of 2026 and I haven’t even finished my 2025 to do list yet. It seems that we have crammed some type of activity into every waking moment these past 6 months. Early in the year we had the opportunity to visit our daughter and son-in-law in Phoenix. We did a lot of sightseeing, and even got to see the Grand Canyon. February Friday nights started a pottery class. This group of four other adults has grown into a friendship. Every Friday they bring food, so we start the night with dinner. The rest of the night is filled with laughter, bad jokes, and pottery either hand built or thrown on the wheel. Did I say laughter and lots of good food?! They keep me on my toes. In March we participated in the Made In Montana Wholesale show in Helena. It was a great show where we met some great people, sold a lot of pottery, and even got some wholesale orders. Leaving Helena the transmission when out on our Jeep. So we spent a few more days in Helena then we had planned. 93 days later and the Jeep is finally fixed and back home!! (thanks mom for the use of your car). A couple weeks ago we finished up an
Adult Ed pottery class through the Victor School. Those six students made some great pieces. A few weeks ago I participated in the Artist Along the Bitterroot studio tours. It was a great week-end visiting with people that came into my studio/gallery. I just delivered a large order, largest I have ever done, of pottery to Glacier Park. Three galleries/shops in Glacier will be carrying my work. Now I need to get started on the Whitefish wholesale order. I also have the privilege of being a part owner of a gallery with 4 other fabulous ladies. Our gallery is called Nest & Niche and located in Hamilton, MT across from the post office. We are open Tuesday-Saturday 10am to 3:00pm. Stop in and see some great art. Well mugs and honey pots are calling for my attention. I hope your summer has started off great.
