2025 Was a Good Year Full of Good People
As I sit here in early January looking out the window and watching it rain but wishing it was snow, I’m reflecting on how many wonderful people there are in my life.
It’s a HUGE list, so bear with me:
> My customers far and near, newbies and those I’ve known for years; I couldn’t do this without you!
> My family and friends who are an encouragement, sounding boards, allow me to blow off steam and get me over technical difficulties and all-things-internet related…you are angels all!
> Hayley, my beautiful daughter, who doesn’t realize what an inspiration she is to me…generous in every way, fearless to try and do, intelligent and responsible. She’s my hero.
> Garon, my son in-law, who is among the handiest and clever people I know and wants to be helpful. Rare!
> Jd…of coarse! My best friend & partner in life, who always has my back, always encourages and always has my heart and let’s me know I have his.
I thank God for all of you. You make my life fuller and my work easier. I feel that I am truly blessed. I also thank God for another year of allowing and enabling me to do what I love.
Upcoming events and news
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I have been working on a new batch of pottery. I will have a bunch of new pieces that are heart related as well as my signature designs to win over the hearts over the loves in your life - or maybe to show yourself a little love - coming out soon.
I will posting glimpses of my new work on my website and on social media. Please give me a follow!
Nest & Niche Studio in Hamilton, MT, is offering a special beginning the last week of January. All the artists, including me, will be offering 10% off items shaped like a heart, adorned with hearts, or marked with a tiny heart sticker. Come hunt for hearts January 28th through the whole month of February. I might suggest that you come early before they’re gone!
2026, here we go…hold on tight! The older I get the more life seems like a rollercoaster. But, admittedly, I do love rollercoasters! I prepare and anticipate during those long slow climbs that seem to never end for the stomach flipping drops that inevitably come too quick. Sometimes the drops and turns aren’t as much fun as I hope and other times they come much sooner than I’m prepared for and I just hope not to loose my lunch. Nevertheless, the ride goes on. My plan this year is to simply enjoy the ride. I hope and pray you enjoy yours too!
